I’m interested in photographs that feel lived in—small gestures, imperfect timing, atmosphere, and the frame you didn’t know mattered until years later.
The approach is documentary at heart, editorial when it helps, and always centered on the people in front of the camera.

It started
in a darkroom.
In 1999 I borrowed my dad’s Minolta SLR for a school project, shot black-and-white film, and developed the negatives in a small darkroom. The tools changed. The reason I photograph did not.
Based in Seattle. Available throughout the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere by arrangement.
